It is frightening to see the United States going backward with the new religious and 'moral' rejuvenation. Interesting how during the Vietnam war there was a call for a new, an uprising that started the peace/love/all that jazz. Today in Middle East the US is fighting a war that is parallel to Vietnam in a lot of ways. I have been reading a book on ( Read more... )

I find it comforting to have a place to write my thoughts that (a) I do not necessarily want other people to read (b) I do not want to clutter people's journals with scholastic type ideas (c) I do not want to impose all my beliefs on to others.
