it's amazing how you feel when you work hard for something and it pulls through!

how difficult is it to get into the production side of things out there? my bf's into graphic design and he wanted to try to work with movie/tv production out there. is it a pretty saturated field?

If you have good work, getting a job out here would be no problem. There is always a look out for good talent in creative fields. The problem is that they don't pay much out here. Hehe... but it's fun out here too.

we've talked about moving out there just for a few years, because i've always wanted to work in the international nutrition field, and mike's always wanted to work out there. he feels like he can contribute so much out there just because the quality of movies/tv we've seen out here coming from the philippines hasn't been too high.

yeah there's a lot of people that want to bring western quality films and tv out here but the simple fact is, the philippines does not have the money to bring the technology needed for high class film and tv transfer. as well as proper studio and graphics needs... believe me, there are a ton of people here capable, it's just that the resources are so limited... but don't let that stop him from coming here and trying!
