It’s a testament to the changing times that single motherhood is no longer a lamentable predicament, but a choice, something pre-meditated and embarked upon with pleasure. An even bigger testament to the nature of the 21st century is the fact that more and more of these unwed mothers do not fit the archetype of the uneducated, hapless teenager.

J will be away for a work trip to Pensacola for a weeek..he's leaving tomorrow, so right now, I am making him "longsilog". Chicken longanisa, garlic friend rice, and fried eggs.....tomatoes and cucumbers are optional but add a yummy fresh touch to it!

Next year is going to be different..and full of changes for me..good and bad..well, I'm saying "BAD", because I don't want to jinx it..but definitely GOOD..I'll be 29..and it will be a new year....a fresh one....I can't wait...I love the holidays! =) -
