I am considering restarting this journal after nearly seven years.  In that time I finished a bachelors degree, moved to west Virginia, got married, and just had my first child.  Just out of curiosity, does anybody still get notifications about new posts?

I got outta the hospital today! I'll be on a flight back to KY tomorrow for 30 days of leave. Can't wait. Think i'll do alot of laying around, cause it still hurts if i walk too much. See you all soon!!

Had to break out of the hospital and go across the street to update this. The computers in the hospital lock out every personnal website. Still here in Texas, but all the reconstruction surgery is finished. Got a bone graft out of my hip and skin grafts from the bicep and right leg. Still pretty sore so i'm walking kinda slow. So i've been here in texas for about a week now. My mom is here for a week. Ok, so I get to washington dc tonight and they say "yeah, on monday you're flying out to Fort Sam Houston in Texas" Why? no one knows. so i guess i'll be there for a long while, and then after the surgies and shit are done, i'll have to go to new jersey for like a week, and then finally i'll get to come home to do the physical therapy and stuff. Damn i'm glad i'll be flying to the states tomorrow cause it's boring here. all i do is watch movies and hang out with my new mercenary friends from south africa. one was shot in the hand and the other got his foot ran over when he was using his vehicle as cover from sniper fire. most of the injured people here are just from stupid accidents like ( Read more... )
