i dont want to offend anyone, but political activists are mostly idiots.
instead of telling people how to think, why dont they want people to get educated and make their own decision?
isn't that what this whole democracy thing is about? not people spouting off about how they are right and everyone else is wrong.

baaaaaaa carter, baaaaaa.

i agree with you for the most part about activists and so forth. it's good that they believe in something so passionately but i never really get any indication of an explanation for reasons why, typically, other than "it's stupid/wrong/insert another adjective here that we're doing such and such". it never really persuades me to listen to them when they're telling me that i'm wrong without even pausing to hear the other side.

excersing your rights is how a democracy works.

protests and activisms are one of the truest forms of "Education".

complaining on the other hand....

i have respect for people that speak what they beleive. some protestors however aren't doing it out of intelligence, becuase they really arent getting their point accross in a way that will get people to think. it seems like that should be what a protest is - something that makes people think and create their own conclusions.

not just a bunch a sillies screaming about how "bush has to go"
they aren't provoking thought in the least.

but bush does have to go. and its impossible to put the list of reasons on a poster board.. so ya skip the bullshit and get straight to the point to show a united front. I think its democracy at its grassroots finest!

if you truly believe that, wouldnt it be better to encourage education in polotics so people can figure it out for themselves, instead of getting preached at about something they may know nothing about.

besides, no matter how true it might be that bush has to go, it is one person's opinion, and preaching opinions only goes so far...

Hey carter you have stumbled apon the x-factor of the system.

The only way to get truly heard is to either have a: Have lots money, OR b: Scream

Poltics is a game just like evrything else, I have spent three years listining and reading the Republican and Libreal agenda. They are pretty much have the same goal stay elected by what ever means.

This is why bush is so hated in my opion, He is doing what he thinks is right and not what anyone else wants and it is that curouge right or wrong that I suport
