During my last semester of college I decided I was going to be artistic and take a ceramics class. I had taken one in high school and thought it would be a fun thing to try. It's actually not bad! Next time, you can leave some air bubbles in the clay on the side that's supposed to be destroyed and let the kiln do its work! Authenticity.

That was a great castle. I wonder why all those experienced students were taking an intro class? I have a niece who took an intro to drawing class in college. It was full of very experienced artists. My niece was held to the standard of work produced by the experienced students, not what a beginner should be expected to draw.

And so, sometimes despite ourselves, the original vision we had wins out. :) I can't see your castle, but I love the description you gave here, "a castle that was crumbling on one side but was being rebuilt on the other."
