Route 30 was where I saw her last. We were... [a pause, because she doesn't really want to say 'stuck in the mud'] ... preoccupied with something. I looked away for a few moments, and when I turned back, she was gone.

Did you happen to notice any differences in your surroundings that may have occurred between the time you looked away and the time you discovered her gone?
Footprints, disturbed ground and plants, or something she may have dropped?

Given the lack of physical evidence, it is unlikely she was abducted by brute force. I cannot yet rule out a Pokémon ability, or even the method with which we were brought here initially.
