slumped in the rear seat of a car parked on an Upper East Side street
yesterday morning.
Responding to a 911 call of a man sleeping in the back of a BMW in
front of 18 E. 89th St., police discovered Antonios "Tony" Katrakazis, of
Flushing, dead at 11:18 a.m. * an empty bottle of Benadryl and a bottle
of Tylenol near his body.
The doors to the car were unlocked.
The medical examiner found no external injuries or wounds, and a
preliminary autopsy failed to reveal the cause of death, according to
spokeswoman Ellen Borakove.
A close friend, who requested anonymity, said Katrakazis had been very
depressed lately, but would not elaborate.
