You have put it in a nutshell, Jen. What a perfect description and something I've been unable to do. You are right, Mumma will always be with us because of that indefinable quality. We three (you, me and Mumma) are a bit like peas in a pod although I think I missed out on that wonderfully calm and subtle part of Mumma's personality :-(. I can remember quite a few times when the three of us were together and people commented on the three generation likeness. I can see it in myself when I look in the mirror on a certain angle ... I know that I'm becoming more and more like Mumma physically as the years wear on. I just wish I had that inner calmness but I I also have quite a bit of Poppa mixed into my personality, so that's not going to happen :-) Thank you for the wonderful memories. Lotsa luv, Mum xxxx

*hugs you both lots* I'm so sorry to hear :( May the days to come be bathed in memories that make you smile and fill you with delight that you had such a beautiful, wonderful person as a part of your lives and that you knew them in ways others of us can only hear about :/

So much love to you both. Thinking of you :(

Yes, after I posted this I of 3 more words that really encapsulated Mumma, and you've mentioned one of them here - calm. She seemed to always be so calm & laid-back (the 2nd word). The other word was content. An unusual quality these days, one most of us could learn from. I used to be pretty good at all 3 myself, but the last few years I'm not as good at them as I used to be ;-)
