I started getting annoyed because I kept reading Winona written as kind of a bitch, so I decided to up the number of portrayals of her as AWESOME.

*blinks violently* That last line didn't make me tear up. Nope. This is just, uh, dust in my eyes. It was a windy day. That's why I'm sniffling, too. Dust. definitely dust.

Anyway: Awesome. The characters are so real and believable and their motivations so easy to understand. Sigh. I kind of want you to write a whole book about her, because it would be amazing.
