I wish The Electric Company would show up at my work. Hell, I'd settle for 3-2-1-Contact! Sorry you had such a crappy day, at least it was really really nice out for you and the guys in the hole. (Pause for sarcasm to somehow be gleaned from online words devoid of intonation or inflection... There should really be a variable font for that, like right next to "bold" and "italic", should be "sarcastic". It would save so much misunderstanding online, and people would find me funnier... maybe) Anyway, I'm going to see you in a couple hours anyway, so I dunno why I writing this other than I'm still trying to get used to this old-style keyboard again after having that ergonomic thing for the past few years. I keep making the stupidest mistakes and having to go back and fix them. So I'm just using you for typing practice ha ha ha. (I looked for, and of course didn't find, the "just kidding" variable font button. THAT one would save a lot of friendships online ( ... )

That power going out thing really stinks. You know that Brookline has had a few, um, issues with NSTAR? A few years ago, Town Meeting formed a committee to investigate the options of the town forming our own municipal power company. Our ruminations don't seem to have helped, though, if transformers are blowing.

So we're in the basement at Norwood today, counting comics, and you're talking about the Firm and trying to remember if that was the band Jimmy Page was in... and I bring up the Power Station. And you grin ear to ear and say "Robert Palmer and the Taylor boys!" And then Bob or Nate or Ralph walked in and we got onto a new subject. And then I get home and read your LJ from yesterday! My life is nothing but a series of... what's the opposite of synchronicity? Incongruities, maybe? Anyway... stop making my life weird!

The power in your didn't just go out once, but twice today. In fact the second time was around the time it happend to you yesterday. Tom at that point just send Michelle home. Meanwhile I, Mr. NEC PPV, had to stay extra late, so big time customers can spend their hard earned money on cartoon paper crack.

Plus all I got today was Michelle calling me, and complaining about her aunt flow coming to town. WTF! That woman needs to keep that kind of info to herself.

So Benn, I don't feel sorry for ya at all. At least it seems you were away from all of Michelle's bitching and moaning. I fear for Lindsay on Weds. That poor girl.
