I just found out that Arnold Drake, creator of the comicbook characters THE DOOM PATROL, STANLEY AND HIS MONSTER and DEADMAN, died this morning from pneumonia complications at the age of 83. Most folks know that my cat Cricket died mid-September. Second worse day of my life was when I realized that there was nothing they could do for the type of cancer she had and all that was left was to make her comfortable before ending her suffering.
