I had an appt. with the pediatrician right after an interview, I was tired and hungry and left my phone on the top of my car while I was getting Helena in her seat, then drove off with it still up there. When I got home and realized what had happened, I called it to see if it was anywhere near by. It rang for about 10 mins. while I was looking on ( Read more... )

I don't suppose it had gps. If so, your provider can probably locate it.
Even if not, you might ask anyway. They might be able to locate which tower it is nearest. I know that's a coarse measurement, but it might be worth a shot.

Also, who is your provider? If it is AT&T, I can probably loan you a phone.

Of course, your entry mentions Sprint. Still, maybe someone has a spare sprint phone you could borrow that is less crappy.

Every now and then someone does the right thing and returns a lost item to its rightful owner. Hopefully you'll get lucky and it will turn up soon.

If not, I may have a phone that has better functionality. It's nextel, but now that they are owned by Sprint, you can just not get the Direct Connect and use it as a normal phone. Just in case you can't find it!

Thanks! I'm getting service back on my old phone today so that I'm not out of contact with everyone. If your phone is newer than 5 years old, it's better than my old one and I would be very grateful for it. I loved my shiny new phone with all it's features, and it's gonna be hard to go back.
