Health update
Still sick.
Was feeling much better Friday - Sunday, but this morning, woke up with a killer headache, which did not go away until ~3:30, despite taking painkillers. >.Went to see GP, got medical certificate for work, also got prescription for antibiotics, as Doc thinks it might be a secondary infection. I have good news, and bad news...
So, good news: I'm no longer working 'til 8pm on my birthday.
Bad news: 'Cause I seem to have come down with Swine Flu.
Good news: Medical/Employer advice: Take the next 5 days off

A trip down memory lane
I've just finished watching all of the opening and closing themes for Ranma 1/2. I'd forgotten how much I love that show.
Mou Nakanaide is definitely my favourite of the Ranma themes, and the The Ballad of Ranma and Akane comes pretty close.
I know, I'm a total nerd. Also a total hopeful romantic, but I'm shameless about that part. -

So, Saturday I went out and bought/installed a new 1Tb SATA HDD and two extra 120mm fans for my computer. Slow work, but I got it there once I figured it out read the damn manual.
I then lugged to case back into it's little nook next to under my desk, it being Winter now, and the extra warmth is nice ( Read more... ) -

One brisk morning
Felt weird walking from home to the bus stop this morning. Probably had something to do with the fact that the street lights were on, the stars out, and my breath steaming visibly, just like when I got home last night. A bit nippy this morning.
