You sign up (if you do, use my link!)
and you have to "complete one of the offers" which means that they give you some choices to choose from and you have to sign up for them. Once you sign up it takes 2-3 days for it to credit to your free ipod account. So, let's say you sign up to join the bmg cd service. So, now you're a member of the bmg club but it "completes your offer." There are 2 offers that are easy to cancel without costing anything (although this is cheating), those 2 are Real Rhapsody (you get it free for 14 days and after it credits to your accout, you can cancel the service) and the other is the AOL one (you have 30 days to cancel). Now that's done BUT you need 5 other people to join (through your link) and also sign up for something and once they sign up and "complete" their offers, you get a free ipod.
It's kinda confusing, I guess but I think it's worth a shot especially since ipods are like $300!!
