An excellent day. Up late. Got much of the spare bedroom cleaned up. Went for a swim. Laid out for a bit. Worked out. Did food shopping. Went to din din with a friend. Home to do some more cleaning.

An awesomely bad start to the week. I have cried every day since saturday. Sucks. I don't consider myself a super sensitive person, though I do seem to take everything personal. Anyways, self esteem issues mixed with kids pulling out the big guns of disrespect and lying and annoying five year old behaviors, it's been tough. I went to church tonight ( Read more... )

The assistant director pulled me aside as I was walking in this morning to work and asked if I had put in for a promotion to one of the assistant director positions opening up in Lexington. What can I say about the week...it's gone by fast. That's nice. G and I spent the weekend in MO, and got back late on Monday night. Good trip. But I felt more like a burden than anything. It amazes me how quickly our bodies adapt to things. I am still in the beginning stages of developing a running routine, for sure. Yet, I notice a difference with the way my body is coping with the running. Granted, I am still taking it simply and slowly....90 seconds of running, then 90 walking...2-3 reps of that.
