I started the new job last Monday. I started my new position today. I think that I am really going to enjoy it. I am going to miss my kids for sure, but thankfully I'll still see them every single day. A four day vacation is finally here! I am so excited! I have a terrible headache, but it almost doesn't matter right now. I have four days off!!

We found someone to take over my classroom! She is so sweet. I think that it will feel a little overwhelming at first (as it did me too), but she seems very teachable and very ready to take the job...so I am very excited for her. She will be great. I don't know what to make of the way I feel right now. I woke up exhausted today...I haven't been getting to bed at a decent time for the last few nights....I keep telling myself that I can go on six hours....and then that gets pushed to five. My class project was a book about myself to read to my kids. They really enjoyed it...particularly the part about our dog Hadley. My parents really enjoyed it as well. In the book I mentioned that I am the only one with blue eyes in my family, and one of my parents and I talked about it for a few minutes...it sparked several random conversations. ( Read more... )

I finished my class project at three in the morning last night. It turned out nicely, and my parents really enjoyed it. My director told me to come in late tomorrow morning...I am going to milk this night of sleep for all its worth. I'm looking forward to being well rested tomorrow. I have forgotten what that feels like.
