Birthday to me. (not happy)

I hate birthdays.  Too much hype placed on my birth, i find it to be quite trivial, we're supposed to celebrate the slow death of our being? doesn't exactly get me all giddy.  I suppose that in my 20's I will resolve to be less cynical, maybe appreciate life more, who knows..
