If you read Marc's blog, you know that we now have a linen closet! I stocked up on body wash today & got a little thrill putting it away. It's amazing what a difference these things can make. In its previous life, this closet was a joke. It was supposed to be a coat closet, but the bar was positioned so poorly that you had to hang everything ( Read more... )

These are pics taken before we had the good camera so the picture quality isn't so great.

I tried a couple new recipes tonight that turned out pretty good - Pan-Seared Tilapia With Chile Lime Butter & Brown Rice with Parmesan, Lemon, and Herbs (Cook's Illustrated). We also had a Radicchio & Spinach salad.

Baby's movements are starting to feel different - more a "traveling" across my stomach that bumps now, although I still can't see ( Read more... )

My visit went well - in fact I was overly worried about weight gain (I've really gotten big), & I haven't been to the Dr. since June 20. I told myself I'd be happy with 6 lbs., but was afraid it'd be closer to 8. It turns out I've gained 2 lbs. since the last visit. I'm feeling very relieved. I guess the Yoga is helping after all :)

The last couple of weeks I've been trying to make an effort to have at least one vegetarian meal a week and 1 meal with beans a week.

This week's vegetarian meal was Green Bean, Zucchini and Potato Stew. I did notice that all the reviews highly recommended the addition of Feta cheese. Needless to say, I wasn't buying any Feta, pasteurized or not ( Read more... )

Ahh, the things you get sucked into when you're going to have a baby. I've been dreaming about diapers for the last few days, as I'm sure Marc has. We've been reading, researching & asking for opinions on all sorts of diaper related questions and finally we have placed an order to get us started.
