This is an honorary update. No need to be alarmed. Posting in here will be infrequent as ever.
I have recently had an epiphany of sorts:
other people disappoint
do not put all of one's energy into them
use one's energy for better things

cliche as can be, but I needed to realize such things

So while some social aspects of my life dipped a few weeks ago, I have reunited with an old friend. I am not as trusting or as close; yet I find it really refreshing to hang out with her again. I get to drive for two to three hours in a storm on my way to the pononos, to slave for 1.55 days (or so). Yay! I'll be back Sunday night, hopefully to finish any work due Monday.
