((OOC: That's why Cyrus is keeping watch on it, too... he's still convinced TAS is responsible! >_>))

Initially I've wanted very little to do with any of this TAS business... overall I would still like to leave it alone. But this is quite... interesting... and if you do manage to learn anything about secondary reincarnations, I would love to be informed.

... What?

Sweet Jesus, I cannot even attempt to consider that right now.

Oh shit--you didn't know? I'm sorry. I thought you did because you said you were interested in the secondary reincarnations.

The first one's journal was vhugo, I think. He was kind of quiet, and he faded away fairly quickly. You're much more of a strong presence here.

Wait a minute. What instruments? I never knew TAS had instrumentst that could detect reincarnations. Glasses?

No, never mind that now, just...this is a lot to think about. So the secondary reincarnations are unusual. I am relieved. It nearly drove me mad to meet a new Charlotte.

Does this mean I, and you, and Victor and so forth, will continue to reincarnate? There will be an Emily again? As opposed to a Charlotte version 2.0?

If we continue to reincarnate, and I get replaced by Victor 2.0 (or apparently 3.0? what the fuck?), what happens to me??? What happens to you?!

I think it only happens if the first one wanders off. It almost seems like people leave self-shaped dents here, and if they leave them, something else shows up to fill the space....that's not a real theory, though, just an impression (no pun intended).

So she is a secondary reincarnation instead of a second or third generation of incarnation. That makes no sense. I can just barely understand another generation of Emilys and Charlottes and so forth, using my sourdough starter analogy...but how can someone reincarnate as a doppelganger?

It makes my head hurt like fury to think about this. We need a philosopher to explain it, I think. Pity we have nothing but writers. All they can do is construct fictions.
