It's very hard to talk sometimes. But I think we may have managed it--two sets of we, actually. At different times and levels, but both with surprising ease. ( Possible TMI--feelings, yuck! )

When I was walking across campus yesterday, a grey tabby kitten dropped out of a tree in front of me. I looked up (stupidly), and another one--black with white feet--smacked me in the face, then dropped to the ground and raced out of sight. You know, it's really no fun to hate someone when everybody else does, too. It makes me feel like part of a mob, and that's--well, it's not a good feeling.

I have so much to absorb, and observe, and reevaluate...my head is spinning.

Of course, that could just be residual turpentine fumes. I painted for about 5 hours straight today.
