Actually, the veganism thing was something I was thinking was entierly likely.

Will actually address some thoughts on the rest when I'm not sneezing my head off.

I don't even have allergies and all this pollen is getting to me! I declare my hatred for New England.

I've taken Vision's change of appearance since it bothered Cassie and sort of spread it out among the other Young Avengers. Iron Lad told him to "take good care of my friends", so I'm going to run with that and play Vision with a tendency to mother-hen over the others.

I've also noticed Vision has a tendency in the Journal Side Game to channel Ryoga Hibiki's awkward flirting style. *snickers*

You mean lots of bloody noses and disappearing for long periods of time because he has no direction sense?

*snerk*

No the "OMG flail!" and tendency to emo over his crush on her.

I'm working on "the Young Avengers Somehow Wind Up In Jusenkyo" plotbunny already, okay? *embarrassed*

Tommy, hmmm...? Well, I'm taking some liberties with his powers. They haven't really said what he can and can't do yet, so I'm yanking Flash speed tricks left, right, and center.

Also, I'm making him more open. To being a goof with his frien...teammates, to the twin theory and to more bratty sibling towards Billy. Mostly cuz I lurv twin dynamics and am dying to try them out with Billy.

He is such the evil twin ^^ And hey, there's no reason not to gank from Flash! I'm sure various Pietro writers have done the same thing down the years.

Once Billy stops swimming in the Nile, it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to playing them off eachother... especially since they both seem to like blowing things up.

Y'know I totally almost had him grab Billy and switch their places when Cap started bellowing.

Alright, I'll be the first to admit I'm taking some liberties with Billy. I've made him a bit less in control of his powers than he is in the comics. There's actually some plottage reason behind this (and I'm sure you can guess where it's going). Eventually, he will get more control over the zapping things stuff. Also, I've made him rather clingy when it comes to his friends and Teddy. In my brain, he just didn't have all that many when he was younger, and that makes him hold tight to the ones he has. Plus, he's got a lot of insecurities attached to his relationship with Teddy.

With Nico, I intend to explore the darkness that seems to be growing in her, and her connection to the Staff of One. And of course, I've given her what feels, in my brain, like some real lust/love for Karolina.

Jono and Penny both declined to be interviewed. They want more screen time. I tell them I'm working on it.

I've only read the first YA trade, and snippets and scans online, so I know what's going on as far as who the characters are, but I'm curious about Billy: Can he come up with spells for anything he likes, or is he limited (by something other than his own lack of skill)? I was always kind of confused as to what exactly the Scarlet Witch could do. It seemed like her powers depended on the writer applying them.

He's cannonically got that oh so useful "I can do anything the writers actually need me to do" power, ala Scarlet Witch.

Myself, I'm giving him some limits. He's drawing that power from himself, and while he's got a lot of power there, if he uses too much at once, he's gonna pay big time. What he can actually do is limited by that, and by his (and my) imagination.

Actually, that's funny that you're making Billy clingy towards his friends. Because Tommy's just as clingy...he's just not willing to admit it to himself or his frien...teammates yet. ('friends'is a scccaaarrryyyy word)

Hm, well I suppose I'm taking a few liberties in fleshing out the fact that Cass is a fourteen year old girl. You can forget that fact when she hangs out with older kids, fights crime, and deals with enough angst for two grown people (this excuses all of the moodswings we see, I think). So I elaborated on the childish aspect we sometimes see in the comics (ie calling the YA's hideout their "lair") and have made her just really silly sometimes. I also gave her some rather less than lovable qualities (ie liking Britney Spears).

As for Xavin? He's really complicated. For one thing I keep typing him as him and then going back to change it based on the gender he is at the time. I'm really trying to balance the things we see in the comics (fighting yet making peace and acting all sweet). I can't say how he's going to evolve, only that it will be very interesting.

So long as she wears headphones will listening to that crap, she will remain unlynched.

I'm having trouble having Kar deal with the gender thing myself! It'd be easier to type 'he' just to avoid pronoun confusion when they share a sentence, but if Karolina doesn't think of Xavin as a girl then she can't be attracted to her, so...

Well, there are always gender neutral pronouns.

And headphones don't necessarily help. I knew a girl who listened to her music so loud that you could hear it from across the room while sitting next to a radio playing its own music. *makes face*

I'm all for 'their' and 'one', but the 'hir' and 'xim' stuff always struck me as very odd (no offense meant to those who define themselves using them). Karolina needs to think of Xavin as definitely female, or at least when they're alone ^^

My sister is one such person. Eventually we broke her volume knob so she couldn't turn it past six! HAH!
