I just took out both of my side navel bars. After I cleaned my stomach tonight I looked at them and realized that on the left one, you could actually see part of the metal bar...I mean, literally the metal bar. My skin was pretty much producing holes where the piercing was ( Read more... )

Yeah, you know what it's like to lose a beloved piercing. *sniff sniff*

Most of my friends got them taken out sometime during high school....after they got thier braces removed normally....I guess that's the normal age?

Aw...don't take out the tongue...it'd be so sad! I've had mine almost a year and a half now and I've never had any problems with it. Don't take it out!!! :( I'm sorry about the two in your navel you had to lose...no fun at all. The stud in the middle of my ear got really infected the other day and I'm hoping it won't heal back before I put the earring back in...I like that one!

I'm not going to take out the tounge ring unless it actually starts being a problem in itself. But if I have to have surgery done on my mouth it will have to come out and it will close. =(

I hope you're earring hole doesn't close either!

i was very sad the day i took my eyebrow ring out, i don't think i could handle losing 3.

and don't take out the tongue ring! especially not after all those extra trips we had to take trekking up to your dorm so you could clean it before we went anywhere. you owe me that much, missy! :O)

HAHA! Yes and you had to smell my listerine infected mouth all the time. I guess just for that I should keep it as long as I can :-P
