So I'm pretty sure I'm moving again.

Not because I don't like Philly or any real reason other than the fact that I want to move, haha.  I want to keep moving as much as I can before it's too late someday, you know?

I worked well over my allotted hours this week, and was really looking forward to sleeping in Saturday.  This was enhanced by the fact that some people on the street were having a loud party that had spilled onto the sidewalk (it was pretty warm out for a change) and it kept waking me up all night.  I didn't get angry because I knew I could sleep ( Read more... )

I've been feeling more positive lately...which is saying a lot actually. Here's why...

• I've been successfully avoiding a certain someone that I couldn't seem to get away from and only brought me down the more I was around him.
• I'm finally getting a little use out of the sewing machine my mom and grandparents got me for my birthday, which has fueled ( Read more... )

Quick update:

• My computer died and I had to take it to the Apple store and leave it for quite a few days...which sucked.
• Luckily, they fixed it up all nice-like, and thank goodness, I'd bought Apple Care when I got my computer, so what would have been a $1600 bill was free.
• Yesterday was my birthday.  I'm now 24.  Whoopdeedoo.

Tonight, I talked to my dad for the first time in over three years.

Last night a friend of mine invited me to come up to a bar/venue in North Philly to see a band that some of his friends are in.  I got there (after an $11 cab ride) and then had to pay $10 for a cover (thank goodness I'd payed for the cab with a credit card, otherwise I wouldn't have had any cash).  I went in, found my friend, and we stood chatting ( Read more... )
