Everything's there: great casting (I don't even dislike Jack Black in this one), beautiful cinematography (New Zealand again!), awesome SFX. Now is 3+ hours too long? Yes, you damn skippy it is. Yo, dude! We agree on a lot of the flaws in Kong, but we disagree on the overall film--I walked out of the theatre a little disappointed. But the one overwhelming agreement--PEE before the movie! Oh my dear sweet Jeebus I don't think my innards are ever going to be the same again. I should have remembered that old expression "you don't really buy an orange soda, you just rent it... "
