Booked another holiday..
I've just booked another trip to England. It's been my yearly me-time these past four or five years, and I really do need some time on my own. Four days in London, and seven i Oxford, August 26 until September 6. Yet another authors' conference, two at the same time that week-end, both in Oxford, so I'll try to attend something at both of them.. ( Read more... ) -
In Lund again..

Some kind of good news for once!
I've actually booked myself a vacation. Yay! I'm going to Oxford for the Barbara Pym Society's AGM, and have managed to get a week off from August 30th until September 7th. I went last year as well, and it's such a wonderfully Pymian experience that I simply can't miss it. Feels like a way to celebrate mum's memory as well, since she was the one ( Read more... ) -
Musings on mum
Here I am again, almost five months later. Mum died on February 19th, she took her last breath at the hospital, with me and my sister by her side. Life became so much emptier when she left us. She never did regain consciousness after those last words to me in the living-room on the 18th of February - "Det blir bättre" - "det blir bättre".. it's mum ( Read more... ) -

We got a little more than a month but now mum is back at the hospital, and it is really bad this time. They give her a few days at the most. My sister and I are here with here during the night, and who knows what will happen ( Read more... ) -
Hospital ER again..
Now it's mum. She's been a bit off the last couple of days but we've just thought she was worried about seeing the doctor on Monday, when she was going the hear the results from the biopsy and x-rays taken on the 22d of December. Horrible day!
Well apparently I turn to lj when bad things happen. Incredibly painful and horrific experience today when dad's other personal caregiver L came back up from her lunch and suddenly started acting really strange. She somehow told me that her boyfriend had cheated on her and I thought she was in emotional schock. She got kind of dizzy and then very ( Read more... ) -
