There were torrents of water coming through the ceiling at work, so we had to adjourn to the pub. Ah, Britain.

Off to Cologne tomorrow to see Viola, and then Rotterdam for work. We have lots of walking tours planned for Rotterdam, so naturally the forecast is for rain all week...

Man, I just watched Superbad and now I'm having the biggest craving to watch Can't Hardly Wait. And 10 Things I Hate About You. In fact, I basically just want to stay in and watch a bunch of high school movies...

I have a visa! (It's only taken 7 months and around £1000...). Now I'm somewhat terrified and guilty and confused!

But I think it's good news? Surely yes.

The rain in July falls mainly on my head.

One of my Flickr shots has been chosen to be included in an online travel guide (bit of a gip as you don't get anything for it, but I think it's a bit of a laugh).

Finished it this morning - will re-read to get a better sense of everything (now that no one can spoil it for me) but at this point I'm not all that impressed.

It's gorgeous - check out their website for an idea. I got back yesterday from the last session of the first cohort on our Leeds castle programme, having had to make an emergency dash down on tuesday with a dvd for one of the presentations.
