A Sticky Jam
I have recently had cause to change my gym, following the end of my membership and wanting to move somewhere closer and with a crèche. Attack of The Food Beasties!!!
Have discovered the source of the ravaging eczema attacking Dahlia's skin. Gluten.. not just wheat gluten but all forms. Bye bye porridge. As I am still breastfeeding her, guess who comes along for the ride ( Read more... ) -
Bah Humbug!
I was most unimpressed last night to find my door besieged by a bunch of kids in costumes going trick or treating. They have been watching too much cable TV which unloads surplus cultural product into their greedy little minds eager to scam their way into confectionary heaven. Updates… July
The long stretch of good health was bound to end and so it did with a very déjà vu return of asthma and pneumonia. Kahlil started coughing just before the end of the school term - complete with coughing fits at night. He coughed through his birthday party (fortunately that was at home - a Bionicle party) and to say that you could hear him above ( Read more... ) -
Water water everywhere..
Though I have been quiet, I and my brood have been well. Life is rather small and uneventful and follows the rhythms of school, kinder and playgroup with parties and outings punctuating the weekends. Our drought tolerant, Japanese garden is essentially complete and we are in prep mode for Kahlil’s Bionicle birthday party (turns 6) with Dahlia’s ( Read more... ) -
Freedom
The other day I was walking with one kid holding each of my hands and no bloody pram or baby sling. Now that's a feeling I could get used to.
