i have read a bit about the latham saga on "the australian" website and it sounds pretty dramatic, although i do feel i've missed out of the feel of the drama there. i don't know if i could cope with being even more despairing about the state of the alp at the moment! howard must be smirking like crazy.

i hope wallace and gromit comes here or i shall have to pressure people to send me a pirate dvd! can't wait to see it. i so loved the one with the evil penguin and his black little black beady eyes.

They did a Wallace and Grommit festival on ABC kids in the lead up to the movie and they showed those 3 films and I have been looking for the DVD since then but I haven't found it yet. That penguin was up there with Hannibal Lecter wasn't he ( ... )

oh it sounds like such a seething pit of dreadful stuff and there's no one there to pull it together. do a post on it... for me! i'm so out of touch with it all. those libs have been unaccountable for years now. what a dark period of australian political history.

Yeah a week doesn't go by without at least one invitation to something. I shall be seriously miffed if you don't include us in your itinerary. Bring Simon too. How can you not include the pleasures of Melbourne in your R&R?
