Well, it turned me from a depressed, cynical, Morrissey and Cure loving suburban kid into a "shit life is short I better start getting things done" 1st year college Freshman who didn't drink or do drugs like everyone else. Painted a lot of bad paintings and wrote a lot of bad poetry too, but also got my general ambition kicked into gear.

My mom is now dating someone, sorta, I think. It's difficult to tell sometimes. But she hasn't re-married. She opened a sushi restaurant and started a new life as a business woman.
