I am currently watching the Karl Lagerfeld documentary while Ilan is gently snoring in the next room and Beanie's filthy paw is clawed to my shirt while drool drips for her stinky mouth. Tomorrow I start my very first Student Teaching gig! I'm siked! It's a pretty cool school albeit, private and very expensive and kind of hard to get into. I am working in a 3's and 4's classroom that is inclusive so there will be some kids with "special" needs and SEITs who tend to them. Should be interesting. Well it's official, I can now safely announce that Alien Baby #2 is on it's way to the Doubrovkine-Paskar gang. I'm at 13.5 weeks and all my crazy tests have come back normal - no down syndrome, no spina bifida, no trisomy 13 or 18 or whatever it is. Today I had my first gynecological visit since my 6 week post baby exit appointment. It was cool to see my midwife again and for her to meet Ilan 18 months later. So I've had to get a whole mess of vaccines for this change in my career as children are all infectious and not immune to anything so in the last few weeks I have had mumps, measles, rubella, tb, and probably something else. So it's only week 2 of school and it's CRAZY but awesome.  I have papers due in every class every week along with a buttload of projects (group and solo) and hundreds upon hundreds of pages of reading. The cool part is that everything I read I LIKE and is interesting and RELEVANT! It's cool. Really cool.
