i know i have a few cooking mad girls on here....know of any recipes that make use of the water in a can of black olives...soupstock, gravy, sauces?
it always smells too good to just throw it down the drain.

i know it's a lot of sodium! but it still seems like it'd add some great flavor to something. maybe i'll just experiment.

hey lady! first, i've been meaning to comment on your wedding reception invite you posted...best wedding reception ever!! wish i could be there! but will think of you on the day...as for black olive juice...it can be used in chili. i have my mom's badass vegi chili recipe that calls for it, as well as some of the black olives. if you want it...let me know and i will post it for you.

OOOh yes please post!! i am ALWAYS on the lookout for a good vegi chili recipe. the thought of olives in it is making my mouth water already :-)

Cool! I'll post the recipe on my journal in the next day or 2...working full time (or 32 hours, which is as close to full time as I'll ever be!) now...so, I don't have as much computer time...and I already printed a flier out ;7)
