SUBSTITUTION Four (Day 10)

A disturbingly tense silence has descended upon the Kent house the morning after the dinner from hell. It’s so staggering that even Clark in his consistent distraction can’t avoid noticing. Glad your still with me. Thanks for reading and commenting.

"UPDATE SOON!"

I'll try. but I must say I'm a little disheartened by the spoilers I've read recently.

Just lovely.

Loved the tension between Clark and Lana. I'm so waiting for the day when it'll be 'dig dong the witch is gone'.

The dream as always was full of stuff that give nice insight into where Clark's at. He's getting to the spot where he'll be ready but he isn't there quite yet and you show that really well.

"Ssh. Stop fighting it."

Yes Clark, please stop fighting it. And I'm hopeful he will one day soon stop fighting it.

And also I'm sorry it took me so long to post a comment. I saved this to read on my car ride back to Canada and then completely forgot to review in the wake of yesterday's spoilers. Bad spoilers but nice fic to chase away that bad aftertaste of those spoilers when I read it again this morning.

Awww... I'm glad I could help with the spoiler spoilage! I know the spoilers made me sick yesterday. I couldn't comment to most of it. I don't know whether I should give up and let it die or keep hope alive.

But then a little voice reminded me that 'it's not over till it's over."

I don't know, what to do about SV. It's sad really, it used to be a really good show.

Anyway thanks for commenting. I'm glad your still enjoying it. :)

Well, I have no advice to offer on the show, but there's always fanfiction. Chlark may not happen on the show but it can happen in fanfiction and I can live with that.

Don't worry too much about the SV spoilers. The season always starts out a certain way, but can you ever remember the season ending on the beginning note?

Just keep the faith :):)

Oh, and you know that I adore this story!

I'm sorry I didn't comment earlier, I was under the fugue of spoiler crap as well and it wasn't doing me any good at all, you know. Anyway, it was well done. I loved the simple exchange between Clark and his mom. It was only a few words, but it let you know how lost he felt so easily. Also, oh Lana, you are not getting laid. Stop pressuring Clark. God, I hate her even when I don't hear the dialogue.

No worries. I felt a little down myself after this whole Cnois shit! To the point I didn't even feel like writing and just drowned my sorrows in other's fics.

Anyway thank you. This chap really wasn't intended at all. It just kind of created it's self so I'm glad that it was well received.
