God this book sucked. It kind of gets sparse here and there, once I realized that I had copied nearly half of the first chapter I decided to pull way the hell back. I added some visuals since this book is fucking boring.

I MAY BE A VAMPIRE, BUT I'M STILL ~*PURE*~ )

I think that you're brave for even reading the books. I have no desire to and you'll be hardpressed to see me doing it.

Hahah, not brave. Insane. I was having a mental breakdown from school and I really needed something just incredibly stupid. So I went for this. Since I was making fun of it anyway, I thought I might as well be more informed!

Wow. I can't believe you're actually reading this dreck. My head would have exploded by now.
I'm just irritated that this ho didn't do any vampire research. That's just unforgivable. The sparkly thing is outrageous.

HAH! Yeah, well, I have a high tolerance for bad fiction. I can find entertainment value in almost anything. And up until yesterday it stopped me from obsessing about grades. Booo.

Yeah, how utterly ridiculous. Like, basic research was too difficult? I can't even understand the sparkle thing. I cannot grasp what kind of mind comes up with that!

One of the themes of the last book (and this book, which I'd forgotten because they all blend together) is that it's better to sacrifice your 'soul' and individuality so that you can have sex, and belong to, another person.

I cannot express how bothered I am by the idea of an 18 year old getting married. What message does this send to teenage girls? That you can fall head over heels with someone (and not really understand why, other than that he's so gorgeous) and get married really young? And that this is okay?

I have to admit, I actually enjoyed the books until it came to that. I didn't think they were well written, but it was enjoyable (if slightly annoying and unbelievable) fluff. The last book really bugged me. As did a lot of the third book. I liked the Jacob/Bella stuff in the third book, though, and that kept it interesting. I like Jacob a lot. More than Edward.

Yeah, it is really annoying that they first of all, they were never really in love. Then, the made a deal to get married for all the wrong reasons. I have to wonder what goes through SMeyer's head with some of this BS ( ... )
