I think my human's lap is shrinking. I was all relaxed and flopped on it, when I fell off. Maybe it was because she shifted, but I think its getting smaller. This is too bad because the lap space was getting bigger for a while, but now the space where I fit isn't as big and roomy. It's still comfy though. And warm

You're already on our friends list, hooray! We hate it when laps shrink. It seems like just yesterday that Siouxsie and me could both fit in Mama's lap, no problem. But now that we're grown-up cats (and we have been for many years), we have to settle for a Small Lap Space and taking turns.

At least Mama lets us sleep on the bed with her, because that way all three of us can position ourselves to be in contact with her.

Lap shrinkage? That sounds like a disaster! Laps definitely shouldn't be allowed to shrink. Well, maybe she cold learn to sit with he legs out in front of her ("propped up" is what the humans call it, I think). That way, she will still have a place for you to sit, even if the lap itself keeps shrinking.
