I may get a Twitter account, but we also already own a url and need desperately to update it (I already got someone to work on it for me to make it workable). Then it will be easier to post Audrey updates and pictures without having to email (well, spam) everyone in my family...

Also, I totally agree with you about the tie-in things being a good expiration date. There was one day taht I wanted some M&Ms and the only ones in the store were Indiana Jones ones. Ew.

ah, man. And I just signed up for infinite billing. :P

I am thinking of having my own blog, so I guess I will, but that sucks, because the flist is the best tool invented. And blogger... well, I have a blogger blog, but I guess, I just don't like it. And I can't just do twitter, I have more to say! (I suspect some people do use it as if it were a blog, actually, and they are irritating.)

That blows - I'm constantly questioning my online presence as it is, so stuff like this seems like it's a sign from the universe that I shouldn't bother. Matt has a blog for the baby already, so if LJ goes down, I don't know what I'll do.

Nothing quite has the user interface and flexibility that LJ does, so I'm sticking by it until the last server is shut down. I'll worry about migrating at that point, though I'd probably end up using Facebook a lot more.
