Lovely coloring. Thanks for the tut. BTW, how did you learn selective coloring? It's not my strong suit.

basically through tutorials, i'd mem them and try them out on different pictures and screencaps, always making sure i used a tut with different settings. slowly started seeing what each color would do if it was changed and just started playing around with it. that's the main thing, just play around with it if there's too much of something, add more of something else to even it out...so on and so forth. there are TONS of tutorials that kind of give you a basic idea of how selective color works so you get a better feel for it.

Simple and effective, my absolute favorite kind of coloring. Definitely memming, those SPN caps are so pesky to icon

I love your tutorial, but I was hoping I could ask you a question about the resizing. Whenever I crop with ps cs resizes it to 100x100 (i have the width and height set to 1). What I was wondering is if that is the correct way to resize an image to an icon? Or should I try another way?

um...if you're asking what i believe you're asking, it shouldn't automatically resize the picture, no. you should crop it to an even sized square, then go up to image resize and resize it to 100x100 :\ i know that probably doesn't help, i can't really tell you how to do it without visuals because i don't have my ps cs open atm.

No, you helped me a lot. Apparently I had it fixed to where it would automatically resize square-cropped images to 100x100. -_-

But I fixed it. Thank you!
