i have finally found the beginning place for my dream of building loft apartments. i purchased two buildings in downtown montgomery today. they are adjacent to each other and total about 7200 s.f. i am going to probably do 3 lofts total and some retail space ( Read more... )

I like the brick walls...those have to stay! And the column in the white building...nice loft effect.

yeah. i am going to tear out most of the plaster and expose more of the brick. i plan on using the column in some way. there are a couple more laying in the back that i might be able to use too.

plan a visit down here sometime soon so you can see me.

good point. i should do that. by the way, i've tried to piece together what all you're doing from your lj entries. I think you should write me a 2 paragraph autobiogrophy of your life over the past few years and send it to blakemann@gmail.com.

That sounded like an assignment, which it totally isn't. It's more of an 'it's time for us to catch up' kind of thing.
