Remove ads from Windows Live Messenger [a tutorial]
(No need to download a patch or anything, just a quick plain DIY instruction.)
To remove the picture ads from the contact list window and the text ads in the messaging windows in WLM, just go to:
※ C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
There, open the file called hosts with Notepad and add the following lines to the document:
