If you voted Yes on California’s Proposition 8 in yesterday’s historic and groundbreaking election, then you contributed, by a narrow majority, to eliminating a fundamental right for part of our state’s population. You voted to write discrimination into our state’s constitution, a document that was written to uphold rights, not to take them away.
