At this point in my career, I can tell you that your State Tax dollars are definitely hard at work.  Being down a warm body in the office and being thrust into the mangerial world has made my life much busier these days.  I hit the ground running and don't stop until 5 (sometimes after).  Most of higher education is doing so much "more with less" ( Read more... )

Though it's kind of a "pilot program" my department has been reduced to two people (from three). They're suspending the search for a new "Executive Director" (my boss) and bumping me and the other person up.
