I spent 12 hours on my feet yesterday; I didn't get paid, and I still loved it.

The museum opened and the ceremonies were amazing. It didn't feel like D.C. in anyway but, again, I loved it. Everyone needs to check it out.

thats awesome you went. i really wanted to go, but then again, i dont have 500 dollars to randomly spend to go there. were there a lot of natives?

Soo many natives, alot in ceremonial dress.

There was a comedian M.C.ing the main event and one of his 'Top Ten Things White People Say To Indiand' list was "Can I take your picture?" and everyone cheered when he said it.

It was amazing. It didn't even feel like D.C. . I just kept thinking I was at a march in the 70's: Bufy Sainte-Marie, Rita Coolidge.

You should get down here and see the museum though.

i went to DC when i was younger..
i gues i'll be going often now since my dad is moving really close to it.
good to know there are things to do there.
