The snow has lain a thin sheet over the ground.

A powdery palatte that rises in wists as I bring my feet through and crunching underneath the soles of my patent shoes.

Winter--a time of sollace.

And after I lay my eyes on the tree, a smile spread over my lips.

Things have been quiet at the house of Sohma.
