So, the undergrad research conference in which Pat is supposed to present the work he did is over the next few days. It’s pretty neat stuff-he’s found a way to make lithium batteries more efficient and last longer. Those are the kinds of batteries that you can currently find in things like cameras and watches, but if this research stuff works, ( Read more... )

My throat hurts so bad I can barely swallow, I'm congested, I feel like my head is going to explode. I called in sick to work today and I think I'm in trouble or something, but at this point I don't care much. I just want the pain to go away so I can breathe again...

It's pretty much already here. And I'm excited. My birthday is tomorrow, and while I don't know precisely what's going on, Pat told me not to be busy around noon.
