So I just added an old friend to Facebook.

And naturally I check out her friends too see if I know anyone.

Then I see someone whose network:

"Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board"

I think to myself, that has to be some kind of joke...

Then I look above:

"MIT Alum '02"

:) It's not the alum part as much as it's just that the defense industry has been quick to absorb people who would have normally gone to commercial industry jobs, but couldn't find one in the post dot-com days. But unless that person is a hard core Nuclear Eng, chances are he/she will be trying to find his/her way out of that area sometime in the not-so-distant future. ;) In the meantime, it's just another "rocket scientist" line to bring up at random parties. ... Or online.

its a website where you can keep in touch with your classmates from college, with certain restrictions on who can see your information and what not.. i do tend to keep more sensitive information on there, like my cell phone number and my actual e mail address since only people that I deem friends can see it, with certain restrictions.

And also, I checked your user info page again, lots of pretty pictures and what not, but no name.. anything in particular i should call you?
