Not Constantinople - Upon Arrival
It gets dark here pretty quickly. The plane arrived around 4pm local time and the sun was already setting. I didn't really get to see much of the city before it went dark but the view of the buldings from the plane window (thank you window seat!) was incredible. The buildings were awesome. Change is an odd thing. Currently it's surrounding me. (Relatively) new country, friends, culture, weather, way of life. An honest to god respectable degree will be mine in a month. And then? Job? I have had a number of friends tell me they have had strangers approach them and ask for directions or to try and score a date or someother in English, right off the bat, regardless of weather or not said friends are speaking in English.
