as far as their rocking pop songs, i'd say "bits and pieces" over "glad all over" but really in my mind it all falls together.
they sort of hit that spot where herman's hermits and the archies hit, not necessarily a british invasion but just the saccharine pop sounds of the mid-60s. oh and DEF. the association, can't forget "cherish" it breaks my heart with its greatness.
oh man. i used to play with my dollhouse listening to "cherish" over and over and over again. i'm so glad she let me raid her records when i was little. oh - and you nailed it. she also LOVED herman's hermits. :)
