Kegged the beer last night. It's still really green, so it'll need to sit in the corny secondary for a bit longer. I might draw off some beer to track it over time, but as this is a kit brew, I'm not sure how much effort it's worth ( Read more... )

So the bubbling is almost over - about time to pull the baby beer out of primary. I'm still undecided if/how I want to put it on secondary. At the very least, I could keg it and let the keg sit. The inventory of surviving beer supplies was not as harsh as I thought. Carboy, auto-siphon, wine thief, gravity thingamajig, and maybe an ale pale survived. Picked up a corny keg and new tubing this weekend along with a pale ale kit to training wheel myself back into the habit ( Read more... )
