Oh and Chris...I suggest you give your Bible another glance over. Eve was not created from a literal rib of Adam's. In Hebrew, the test translates as a part of Adam, who was made of clay, so what it actually says is, the clay was split into two and from that God made Adam and Eve at the same time. Not one before the other, so Adam was not there begging for a friend ad willing to give up a rib for her. It didn't happen that way and it wasn't even written that way. Secondly, Eve did not seduce Adam into doing anything. She was scared to eat the fruit but was tempted by it. Adam, trying to prove his manliness and courage to Eve, (with the convincing done by the snake, not Eve) stepped up and took a bite of it insisting that no one would know, and when God found out, he hid like a coward. That is how the story goes, if you insist on referencing the Bible.

You know those little letters ( [i] and [j]) you put next to the words. Go down on the page of your Bible and look at what it says. I don't have a Bible handy, so I don't know what the actual Hebrwe word for it is, but in Hebrew, which is what the Bible was originally written in, the word means part. Not rib, but part of a whole. Adam...the word, not the name, means mud, so when it says what God made was called Adam...it isn't the same as when your momma named you Adam...it's saying God called it mud. And eve was known as, from the mud. Just to clarify things
